Actor Heath Ledger Found Dead
"NEW YORK (AFP) — Australian-born actor Heath Ledger, 28, the co-star of the Oscar-winning movie "Brokeback Mountain," was found dead in a New York residence on Tuesday, police said.

"Heath Ledger was found dead at 3:26 pm this afternoon," a police spokesperson said, saying he was found in an apartment in the posh district of Soho. "We don't know the cause of the death."

The entertainment website TMZ said Heath was discovered "face down on the floor" adding that "law enforcement sources ... believe it was not a crime.""

Times Online Diatribe Against Video Games = Failure

"Even the crappiest cartoon or lamest soap teaches a child about character, plot, drama, humour, life. Playing videogames, children are mentally imprisoned, wired into their evil creators' brains."

--Janice

This amuses me to no end, the worst generalization this author decides to dwell on is her own experience. I know families that play games together. I don't know any kids that sit "drooling," either. Oh, except for the author's kids. Go figure.

People, this is the kind of article that exhibits the narcisistic plague that has his this generation, and the latter in their older age, or those that choose to embrace it. This is nothign more than a person thinking that their own experience is the ONLY experience and the LAST experience. To this I would add: uniformed.

The quote itself is not predicated on any experience with Final Fantasy. I don't really know of any other game franchise that has spawned thousands of written, typed, and drawn fanfiction. Amirite? xD

Final Fantasy VII Rumor: Endless Crisis
TGS is finally here, and this weekend will encapsulate the best of what gamers, national and international alike, have to look forward to. But it could be said that every great advent is preceded by even greater anticipation, and often this anticipation spawns rumors, and so it begins. Jeux-France and 2ch are reporting that a whole list of new SE games will be prieviewed at TGS this weekend. Although some of these titles have not been confirmed by SE as of now, we hope to hear more on the validity of these rumors as the show gets underway. Below is a list of games that are rumored to be announced this weekend.

- Endless Crisis : Final Fantasy VII (PlayStation 3)
- Final Fantasy XIII (PlayStation 3)
- Final Fantasy Versus XIII (PlayStation 3)
- Kingdom Hearts (titre temporaire) (PlayStation 3)
- Kingdom Hearts : Chain of Memories 2 (Nintendo DS)
- Kingdom Hearts 0 (PSP)
- Star Ocean 4 (PlayStation 3)

Below are some scans from what Jeux France claims are the new kingdom hearts games, but my french is rusty. Voilia!
-Scans coming soon!
