The title that started started everything. Final Fantasy also known as "Fainaru fantajî" in Japan debuted in 1987, at the time by a small developer/publisher called square, currently known as Square Enix. The title hit North America by 1990 and was published by Nintendo of America. It set the line for future console role-playing games to come, and was one of the most critical games for the Nintendo Enterertainment system (NES) at the time. Years after both release dates popularity of the series spawned multiple remakes first of being on a MSX2 Floppy Disk in other terms computer of the era in 1989. After that followed a WonderSwan Color remake in 2000 and then onto Playstation X (One) in 2003. Even after all the years have passed the next to come was on the Nintendo Gameboy Advance in 2004 bundled with Final Fantasy II dubbed the Dawn of Souls. Most recently the Epic game has been released on the Playstation Portable on June 26th 2007. The game that basically started the whole RPG craze in North America and other Places goes out in a blaze of glory.

You start the game with four Light Warriors, known as the Heroes. Each of these Warriors carries a darkended orb also refered to as crystals. They arrive at one of the three big continents called Cornelia. Which has had its princess kidnapped by a knight. They Travel from place to place as the story unfolds. Remaining trapped within the Aldi Sea of the southern continent.The prince becomes cursed into a sleep by Astros.They go on a short quest to get the crown which was hidden in the Marsh Cave to the south.At the Earth Cave the Warriors go to defeat a vampire so they can retrieve the Ruby and also gain passage to the Sadda Cave. They Venture deeper into the Earth to get rid of the Earth fiend, Lich. who has been decaying the Earth.They get on a canoe and go into the Gurgu Volcano to defeat the Fire Fiend Marilith. They recover a Levistone which allows them to obtain an airship. After retrieving the Rat's tail from the Ordeal Castle, the king of Dragons, Bahamut, promotes each Warrior. Using a fairy artifact called a Oxyale, they go the the Sunken Shrine and defeat the Water fiend called Kraken. They find fragements of the Lefeinish Language and visit a linguist named Dr. Unne to decode it which he teaches each of the Warriors. Which then they use to gain access to the Floating Castle from the people of the last Lefeinish Civilization. Turns out the Floating Castle is occupied by the Wind Fiend which is the last of the total four. With all of them defeated and the Orbs being Restored the Warriors find out a weird paradox, that the knight Garland, now known as the archdemon chaos was sent by the friends 2000 years into the past. The friends venture into the past defeat the threat and end the time loop, thus starting the legend.
